Creating a website from scratch using WordPress has been a valuable learning experience. Before starting this project, I had limited exposure to how websites are structured and managed behind the scenes. Working directly with WordPress helped me better understand the relationship between content, structure, and user experience.
One of the first challenges was learning the difference between pages and posts. While pages provide static information, posts are used to publish dynamic content such as blog articles. Understanding this distinction made it easier to organize the website and plan how content would be displayed.
Another important aspect of the process was building the site step by step. Starting with the basic structure and then gradually adding content allowed for better organization and reduced confusion. This approach highlighted the importance of planning before focusing on design details.
Working with WordPress also showed how content management systems simplify website creation. Features such as themes, menus, and editors make it possible to build functional websites without technical knowledge, while still allowing flexibility and customization.
